Epic Win Burlesque Presents the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Sexy (slide show)

With its epic-quest theme, wizened wizards, wayfaring elves, bad-ass timber and various fantastical kings, princes and demons, one could assume that The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is one of geekdom’s top touchstones. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Epic Win Burlesque ("the nerdiest burlesque show in town") would eventually get around to tackling the subject—and on Saturday, November 16, the crew finally did, with troupe leader Nelson Lugo—along with BB Heart, Hazel Honeysuckle, Kissa Von Addams, Magdalena Fox, Mary Cyn, and Sophie Maltease and cohost Bastard Keith—paying tribute to Frodo and the gang. Maybe it’s just us, but we don’t remember the Ents looking quite so hot in the Peter Jackson version.
