The Nervous label's disco-kissed imprint, Nurvous, sets up shop at Sullivan Room for a date with Tone of Arc (otherwise known as Dead Seal or, to his folks, Derrick Boyd), who creates subdued, pop-informed house that manages to be both smooth and bumping. Walker & Royce have been a roll lately: Not only are they firmly ensconced on Nurvous, but they recently released a great EP on the Crosstown Rebels label. Soul 2 Seoul is the team of local tough guys Turtle Bugg and Ctrl.
