15 Years of Direct Drive: DJ Hype

Direct Drive continues its decade-and-a-half birthday celebrations with another night of heavy-duty drum ’n' bass. The headliner is the U.K.'s DJ Hype, the Real Playaz honcho who's been at the forefront of the d’n’b universe since the early ’90s; responsible for influential cuts like "Roll the Beats," "Shot in the Dark" and "Global Thang," he would have a place on d’n’b’s Mount Rushmore, if only someone were crazy enough to take on that endeavor. Dave Shichman, Eshin and Direct Drive boss man DJ Seoul hit the decks as well.
