Last year, A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs’s record label, Fool’s Gold, was midway through a raucous free party when the cops shut ’em down, due to overeager gate-crashers pushing the space beyond capacity. This edition should avoid that problem, as it’s relocating from the West Village to the more accommodating Williamsburg Park. Although don't expect it to be any less popular—the lineup features profoundly weird and talented Detroit rapper Danny Brown, the one-two punch of El-P and Killer Mike as Run the Jewels, rising A$AP Mob member A$AP Ferg and a rare performance from A-Trak and Armand Van Helden's Duck Sauce, the force behind superhit "Barbra Streisand."
