!BadAss! Burlesque: Drama Queens of the Silver Screen

The alt-burlesquers of !BadAss!, led by Velocity Chyaldd, head to St. Marks Place to say "hooray for Hollywood"—or is that "screw you, Hollywood"? An all-star cast (including Lady Scoutington, Go-Go Harder, Apathy Angel, Honi Harlow and Gal Friday) will channel the likes Marilyn Monroe, Mae West, Rita Hayworth and, of course, Joan Crawford. Empress Chi Chi Valenti serves as the night's compere; Vulgaras opens the affair with a live set. Proceeds from the night go to the Howl Emergency Life Project (howlfestival.com/about/howlhelp), providing support to artists who have participated in the annual Howl Festival or who make their careers in New York City's East Village and Lower East Side.
