Basic NYC: Mendo + Vincenzo

Sleepy & Boo's long-running soiree is back at Le Poisson Rouge for another session of four-to-the-floor fun—and tonight the pair is giving us two great DJ-producers for the price of one. Mendo, a mainstay of the ever-popular house and techno imprint Cadenza, might not be as big a name as the label's head honcho, Luciano. But his sound, which ranges from popping jack tracks to full-bore, Latin-tinged party music, will probably get him there. The veteran Vincenzo, meanwhile, is a great producer who's long been releasing gorgeous deep house on Steve Bug's Dessous imprint.
