This “tropical fantasy dance club” is another staple in the thriving Bushwick scene—setting itself apart from its competitors with a legitimate sound system and consistently hot lineups of underground house and techno DJs manning the decks. The bar only opened its doors in December of 2012, but it's already made a big name for itself in the community, curating its own stage at Sustain-Release—going into its second edition this September—and hosting numerous industry pioneers. Bossa's “DJ résumé” continues to impress—highlights include: Adam X, Ron Morelli, Heather Heart, Marcos Cabral, Reade Truth, Jamie xx, Henning Baer and Mike Simonetti.

Bossa Nova Civic Club Saves!

If u like Bossa Nova then definitely check out JUNO which is owned by same crew across the street.

You can always count on Bossa Nova for a good night out, entertaining crowd and wild experience. Located in the heart of Bushwick, Bossa is a non-pretentious nightclub with a poppin' dance floor and backroom lounge. The drinks here are decent ($8-10 a pop) and the bartenders pour with a heavy hand.

Do beware that it can get crowded on weekends, and if you're acting obnoxious, their bouncers will prevent you from entering.

Hands down my favorite bar/club/venue in NYC. It's always no cover Sundays-Thursdays, as well as Fridays-Saturdays before midnightso you can get your weekday or weekend dose of great music and company for close to $0. Bartenders and staff are always super friendly and inviting.
