Bushwick Burlesque Presents Limitless: A Marina Abramovic Tribute

Bushwick Burlesque's Darlinda Just Darlinda and Scary Ben indulge their cultured side with this tribute to pioneering NYC performance artist Marina Abramović. The night's stars have been tasked with choosing a piece that Abramović created or presented and reimagining it via the lens of "absurdist cabaret." The show features Rosabelle Selavy, Zoe Ziegfeld, Melody Jane, Kitty Kaboom, Eric Schmalenberger, Kae Burke, Gin Minsky, Poppy Tart, Rush Hicks and Bombazeen Bean, among others. As Abramović herself has said, "The function of the artist in a disturbed society is to give awareness of the universe, to ask the right questions and to elevate the mind."
