The title of this event is a bit misleading; its soundtrack won't be completely dark and it's not all that disco-ish either. But it will be pretty phenomenal. For one thing, it's held in a Chinese restaurant, just in time for the lunar new year. But more importantly it boasts some terrific headliners. Montreal's Jacques Greene has risen to fame (underground fame, at least) in the past two years on the strength of some wonderful and weird garage-tinged house tracks on Night Slugs, LuckyMe and his own Vase label; Martyn is the brilliant dubstep-house-techno-whatever artist released the great Ghost People album on Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder label in 2011; and young gun Morri$, from Team Bear Club, makes and plays everything from revved-up rave-hop to gentle, wavey deep-hued rhythms.
