Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky are back with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. This month’s edition sees the return of Barbara Lynn, the "Soul Queen of the Gulf Coast," who came to fame via the ’62 hit "You'll Lose a Good Thing," but is probably best known through her oft-sampled "I'm a Good Woman." She'll be backed by the Brooklyn Rhythm Band, who will be laying down an opening set of their own; noted vinyl dealer John Manship joins the residents in the DJ booth.
