Time Out says

Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky are back with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. For this month’s edition, the pair is bringing in yet another iconic yet overlooked performer: Chicago's Darrow Fletcher recorded a string of moving soul tunes in the ’60s, including "The Pain Gets a Little Deeper" and “My Young Misery,” songs that were somewhat ignored at the time but later became big on the Northern Soul scene. He'll be playing his second NYC gig in 45 years (the first was at a previous Dig Deeper), backed by the Brooklyn Rhythm Band. That combo will also be handling the opening set; George Rodriguez, from L.A.'s City Soul Club, is the night's guest DJ.
