Dig Deeper: DeRobert & the Half-Truths

Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky are back with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. This month's edition is a bit of departure for Dig Deeper—the featured act isn't some half-forgotten great, but a contemporary one, albeit one steeped in as much raw emotion as any of the old-timers. DeRobert & the Half-Truths—the house band of Tennessee's G.E.D. Soul Records—have a fully vintage sound and will be making their NYC debut at this gig.
