Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky (tonight joined by Virginia's Scorpio Brothers) are back, with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. This month’s edition sees the pair once again focusing on Jamaican soul variations, with Eric "Monty" Morris—the original vocalist of the Skatalites and the voice on literally hundreds of ska, rocksteady and reggae cuts—playing a rare NYC date, backed by Crazy Baldhead. As a bonus, the Deadly Dragon Sound System spinners serve as guest DJs.
