Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky are back with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. This month’s edition boasts a performance from "Arkansas soul brother" Jimmy "Preacher" Ellis—the man behind such infectious ’60s groovers as "I'm Gonna Do It by Myself" and "Work with What You Got." He'll be backed by the Brooklyn Rhythm Band, which will be playing an early set of its own.
