Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky are back with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. This month the pair creates another of its occasional odes to Jamaican music, with a rare NYC set from the rocksteady and reggae pioneer Ken Boothe, probably best known for his beautiful 1974 cover of Bread's "Everything I Own." Deadly Dragon Sound System and Grace of Spades spin as well; Crazy Baldhead serves as the night's backing band and plays an early set of its own.
