Dig Deeper: Lenis Guess

Dusty-fingered record freaks Mr. Robinson and DJ Honky (tonight joined by Virginia's Scorpio Brothers) are back, with their night devoted to vintage funk and soul. This month’s edition sees the pair bringing in Lenis Guess—the man responsible for the Northern Soul hit "Just Ask Me," among other great tunes—for a repeat Dig Deeper performance (and only his second NYC gig in more than 20 years). The Solid Set serves as the night's backing band.
