Harvey Bassett has been playing music in one form or another for the past 40 years, with stints as a postpunk drummer, a dance producer, the frontman for his own psych-rock band and, predominantly, a disc jockey. One of the last DJs to work with Larry Levan, his dance-music sets are the stuff of legend.
