District 36 (and its excellent Gary Stewart Audio sound system) hosts a slew of spinners for its Cinco de Mayo fiesta, with DJ Vibe, from the great thump-house team Underground Sound of Lisbon, banging out his thick prog-tech beats in the headlining slot. Toronto house and techno champion Carlo Lio and Cristian Arango—the Colombia-born DJ behind Nervous Records’ My House Is Your House mix-CD—spin as well, with Basic NYC’s Sleepy & Boo holding it down in the Mirf Room.
