We always knew that Nicolas Jaar possessed a strong streak of artistic ambition—one listen to last year's Space Is Only Noise makes that clear—but this event takes his work to a whole new level. Fresh off his Clown and Sunset event on Friday, this affair serves to launch Clown and Sunset Aesthetics, a "multimedia couture house" helmed by Jaar and film producer Noah Kraft. What you'll be treated to is a five-hour continuous performance choreographed by Jaar, incorporating live collaborations with musicians Will Epstein, Dave Harrington and Sasha Spielberg, a movement piece by Lizzie Feidelson and sound-derived video art from Ryan Staake, all within PS1's courtyard performance dome.
