Ike Yard, the trio of Stuart Argabright (known to fans of underground NYC electro as Dominatrix), Kenneth Compton and Michael Diekmann—was one of the seminal experimental electronic combos of the No Wave era, making jittery, dystopian sounds during the late ’70s and early ’80s. The band is playing live tonight, alongside the cold-wave–tinged Xeno & Oaklander and the Wierd-affiliated Led Er Est. Dan Selzer from the Acute label (which released a great Ike Yard retrospective a few years back) and Paris DJ Black Ozlem spin the between-set tunes.
