Guillermo Scott Herren, better known as Prefuse 73, is an innovative beatsmith who, over the course of a decade and a half, has helped lay the groundwork for the Flying Lotuses of the world. He's just launched a new label, Yellow Year Records (expect releases from the likes of Teebs, Nosaj Thing, Lapalux, Synkro, Nathan Fake and Dimlite in the coming months), and to celebrate that fact, he'll be laying down his richly melodic, often-psychedlia-tinged sounds tonight at Output.
