Press releases generally aren't worth the 0s and 1s they're e-mailed with, but Jimmy Edgar's describes his electronic stylings as "hyper-sexed microchip" music—and that's as good a description as we've heard for the Warp Records veteran's IDM sounds. His latest album, XXX, is coming out on !K7, and tonight's release party features a set of live knob-twiddling from the man himself.
