Nik Mercer returns with another edition of his party devoted to oddball aurals of the disco, techno and—as the name implies—house persuasions. Tonight's installment held in that weird second-floor karaoke bar at 59 Canal that veteran undergrounders know well, features a great guest in Wolfram, a lover of left-field, Italodisco-tinged material who's celebrating the release of an excellent self-titled LP on the Permanent Vacation label. The Austrian DJ-producer has worked with Hercules and Love Affair (he remixed their "Painted Eyes," while members of the band appeared on his cut "Fireworks"), so it makes sense that HALA's Kim Ann Foxman also spins, as do Will Eastman and David Silva.
