Mike Huckaby + Analog Soul

Mike Huckaby might not be the most famous DJ-producer to hail from Detroit, but he's one of the most venerated within the underground scene. In the '90s, he released volumes one and two of Deep Transportation under Rick Wade's Harmonie Park imprint, and he's since produced for a handful of other labels—including Berlin's legendary Tresor Records and his own labels Deep Transportation and S Y N T H. Here, he presents the second Brooklyn edition of his Sun Ra Reel-to-Reel Sessions—a unique set of edited classic tracks by the "cosmic philosopher" and inovative jazz composer Sun Ra. Joining him on the intergalactic dancefloor journey is techno's baddest twin-sister duo, Analog Soul.
