New tunes: Kastle and the Symbols crew

In the run-up to their Output outing, Kastle and his Symbols cohorts share some unreleased tracks.

Looking for a cool way to spend your Thursday evening? Well, you could always cuddle up in front of your computer to catch up on back episodes of Monk. But frankly, that would suck. Here's something better: Head to Output for the Symbols label night, where head honcho Barrett "Kastle" Richards and his fellow R&B–bass fusioneers—the imprint's own Sweater Beats, Druid Cloak and Jaw Jam, along with special guest Lindsay Lowend—will be laying down their utterly groovy rhythms, with the sounds ranging from beautifully hazy hip-hop to ecstatic house. To warm up for the affair, give a listen to these unreleased (and excellent) tunes from the party's principle players.

Input: Symbols Label Night is at Output Thursday, September 12.
