The online electronic-music and club-culture resource Resident Advisor is celebrating a decade of filling international nightlifers in on what's what with a series of birthday bashes held in international hot spots—and tonight the party alights in NYC. The night includes contributions from Mala, one-half of the pioneering dubstep duo Digital Mystikz and one of the men behind the seminal DMZ party and label; the nine-piece King Sunshine, an ensemble that's worked with house-music mavens like Robert Owens and DJ Sneak; Chicago house veteran Peven Everett, who'll be performing with King Sunshine; Japan's Masashi Nakazawa; and a supersecret (and, most likely, quite impressive) special guest.
