Ridgewood's new no-nonsense techno venue Basement—located below the already-massive Knockdown Center—celebrates its inaugural night with dark empress of the contemporary techno world Rebekah. The Birmingham-via-Berlin spinner's sets are known their unrelenting speed and brutality—hopefully the dancefloor survives the sonic obliteration during its first night out.
