Rinôçérôse + Knife City + AIMES

France's Jean-Philippe Freu and Patrice "Patou" Carrié's long-running Rinôçérôse project has been playing up the band-does-dance-music thing since 1998; and they still do it better than most similarly-minded units, creating streamlined guitar-house that almost always hits the sweet spot. Knife City (Anamanaguchi’s Luke Silas) creates engagingly hyperactive chiptune rhythms, while Aman "AIMES" Ellis opts for a lush brand of melancholy synthpop.
