Summer of Ubiquita

For the first time in ages, the Ubiquita crew—which now counts Reborn, Moni, Selly, Sherock, Khayatollah, Jackie O, Waichi and Rimarkable among its members—hosts a weekly residency, holding court upstairs at Greenpoint hangout Red Star. But as before, it will feature a great mix of slept-on funk, hip-hop, house, Afrobeat, Latin, soul and the like that will pull in underground-music aficionados.
