The Bunker: Demdike Stare + Atom TM + Derek Plaslaiko

The Bunker exercises strict quality control over what looks to be a pretty mind-blowing trip to the outer limits. The music of England’s Demdike Stare can be biliously brooding and darkly droning—but Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty’s meticulously paced, beautifully produced sound is ultimately uplifting, not to mention hauntingly powerful. Atom™ is one of the many monikers (Atom Heart and Señor Coconut being others) of electronic-music polymath Uwe Schmidt, who'll lay down a new live set called GND ∞, which just had its debut at Berlin's famed Berghain club.
