The Mermaid Parade Ball

The official after-party to today's Mermaid Parade, this burlesque- and rock-oriented bash—hosted by Adam the First Real Man—sees onstage turns from BB Heart, Fem Appeal, Jo Boobs, Lefty Lucy, Little Brooklyn, Dixie Von Trixie and the Captain & Maybelle; go-go action from Apathy Angel, Boo Bess, Dottie Dynamo, Evelyn Vinyl and many others; and musical performances by the A-Bones, Labretta Suede & the Motel 6, and the Moto-Rays. And that's not to mention synchronized swimming from the Brooklyn Peaches, a school of mermaid gals (Bambi, Julie Atlas Muz, Dame Darcy and Sasha Fire Gypsy among them) and Moby—yes, that Moby—spinning the tunes.
