The Roots of Sound System: Part II

The Jamaican-rhythm enthusiasts of Deadly Dragon Sound team up with the low-end lovers of Dub-Stuy Records for a celebration of roots reggae and U.K dub. The night features sets from the veteran Channel One Sound System—the 2010 winner of the Red Bull Music Academy Culture Clash, along with the venerable Tony Screw, also known as Downbeat the Ruler. The Deadly Dragon and Dub-Stuy crews also select some tunes—and as a bonus, everyone will be playing over Dub-Stuy's awesome 15,000-watt Tower of Sound speaker stack.
