Turntables on the Hudson Release Party

The TOTH gang tosses its monthly Cielo hoedown, dedicated to those driving Afro- and Latin-laced house and funk rhythms that we’ve come to expect from Nickodemus and his guests. Tonight's party celebrates the release of not one, but two excellent new records on Nickodemus's Wonderwheel label: his own Moon People and the Spy from Cairo's Arabadub. The Spy from Cairo will be feting his new album with a live session; Jose Marquez lays down a DJ set. E-mail rsvp@turntablesonthehudson.com to get on the reduced-admission list.
