Verboten: Claude VonStroke + J. Phlip

Verboten heads back to Manhattan to welcome the avian audiophiles of San Fran's Dirtybird label, who are swooping into the club for a night of somewhat left-field (and very jacking) house and techno. The label's top rooster, Claude VonStroke (Barclay Crenshaw to his pals), will be in the booth to celebrate the release of a fine new album, Urban Animal. He'll be joined there by labelmate J. Phlip; opening are Nicolas Mendoza-Conner and Trevor Haimes, together known as the Greenhaven DJs.
