Verboten is back in its Manhattan home for another decidedly nonverboten night of top-shelf electronic dance music. Joris Voorn, the head of the Rejected label, is the rare Dutch DJ who doesn't play meathead house or gossamer trance; instead, his tech-house tunes rely on unexpected twists and melodies (not to mention hot basslines) to work their magic. And there's more: Davide Squillace is a revered resident of Ibiza’s Circoloco party, while Trent Cantrelle is most known for the 2011 club hit "I Want a Freak."
