Warm Up 2011: Four Tet

PS1 is back with the 14th season of the sprawling Warm Up wingding, as always featuring a stellar slate of DJs and performers in the museum’s courtyard. Today’s party has a great headliner in Kieran Hebden, the Londoner turned Brooklynite best known as Four Tet, whose sound has morphed from pastoral electronic soundscapes to something approaching jacking techno (albeit a slightly abstract version thereof). Another underground fave, bass-music maestro Falty DL, plays as well, along with London's SBTRKT (check out the mysterious trio's fine new album on the Young Turks label), San Fran's Bronze, L.A.'s Matthewdavid and NYC's own Turrbotax crew.
