Dudesong: A Dramatic Reading

In 2009, Phil Wells took on the Herculean task of translating every word of the Coen Brothers' iconic The Big Lebowski to iambic pentameter. He's a good man, and thorough. Today, his lyrical paean to the Dude shines in print as Dudesong, and is about to be performed — in it's entirety— onstage by the dudes of the PIT. White Russians will flow as the mythic, glorious Dude takes on carpet-peers, nihilists and nymphomaniac stepmoms in epic verse.
