This multi-level comedy palace in Long Island City is the deserving gem of the Queens comedy scene. Catch shows seven nights a week, and at times you can catch up to five free shows on a busy weekend night. Among it's features: cheap, serviceable Mexican food, a ramshackle theater hosting larger sketch and improv events, a smaller space downstairs for intimate stand-up or storytelling shows and a bar with adjoining patio on which to ply friends for their opinions after the show.

Respect to this institution for getting in early (I started going here in 1996 when it was Willow Creek) and growing with -- and contributing to -- the neighborhood. Very satisfying vegan options, and a supportive showcase for rising talent. Sharp-eyed folks can even catch established entertainers here!
This amazing place is the only comedy/entertainment venue worth mentioning in the city! Hail yourselves!
I love this spot. They have free stand-up featuring some hilarious folks. I also love love love the food!
With many FREE stand up, improv and sketch shows every day, flavorful California Mexican food, cheap-ish beers and booze and the coolest pinball machine in NYC, this clubhouse-type comedy den has a chill vibe and near constant live entertainment. This is the next legendary NYC venue that will eventually launch a dozen or more other legends.
