Dan Zanes and Friends

After forays into genres like gospel and show tunes, kids’ music legend and local family favorite Dan Zanes invites kids and the perpetually young at heart to a musically eclectic show at the Met's Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. Rocking out with a talented troupe containing the likes of Coline Brooks (on drums), Sonia de los Santos (vocals, guitar and mandolin) and others, kids can dance and sing along to songs rooted in West Indian folk, Mexican son jarocho, early rock 'n roll, and original songs off of Zanes' latest, Little Nut Tree. All ages.
