Time Out says

Aaron Friedman’s annual day of music gets an early start in Central Park, where individuals are invited to play a single note at dawn as part of Yoko Ono’s Secret Piece. Hundreds of soloists, symphonies and bands perform at more reasonable hours, including West African griot musicians at Wave Hill and Japanese bamboo flute players in the West Village. Kid-friendly acts like the Fuzzy Lemons and high-school rockers the Westys also take to the stage. All ages.
