Ailey II

Alvin Ailey's sprightly second company returns for its annual spring run in New York. Its three adventurous mixed bills, performed in rep, include works by new artistic director Francesca Harper, William Forsythe, Andrea Miller, Yannick Lebrun and, of course, Ailey leader Robert Battle; a special fourth program on March 24 celebrates Battle's tenth anniversary at the helm.
