The venerable American Ballet Theatre returns to its home base at Lincoln Center for a two-week autumn run, the swan song for artistic director Kevin McKenzie. The engagement begins with five performances of Alexei Ratmansky's frothy full-length ballet Whipped Cream; mixed bills in the second week include the premiere of Christopher Rudd's Lifted as well as repertory favorites by Ratmansky, Frederick Ashton, Jiří Kylián and Jessica Lang. The principal dancers are Joo Won Ahn, Aran Bell, Isabella Boylston, Skylar Brandt, Daniel Camargo, Herman Cornejo, Thomas Forster, Catherine Hurlin, Gillian Murphy, Calvin Royal III, Hee Seo, Christine Shevchenko, Cory Stearns, Devon Teuscher, Cassandra Trenary, James Whiteside and Roman Zhurbin. (Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 6 at 10am.)
