American Ballet Theatre Summer 2023

The venerable company returns to the Met with five weeks of full-length ballets. The summer season begins with the New York premiere of Christopher Wheeldon three-act Like Water for Chocolate (June 22–July 1), which is followed by shorter runs of time-honored classics: Giselle (July 3–8), Swan Lake (July 10–15) and Kenneth McMillan's Romeo and Juliet (July 18–22). The current roster of ABT principals comprises Joo Won Ahn, Aran Bell, Isabella Boylston, Skylar Brandt, Daniel Camargo, Misty Copeland, Herman Cornejo, Thomas Forster, Catherine Hurlin, Gillian Murphy, Calvin Royal III, Hee Seo, Christine Shevchenko, Cory Stearns, Devon Teuscher, Cassandra Trenary, James Whiteside and Roman Zhurbin.
