Ballet Hispanico

Master-class observation 11am–12:30pm, 1–2:30pm; performance and discussion 6–7:15pm. Ballet Hispanico looks at the Cuban cultural influence on American dance in a day of classes (free, open for observation), as well as a discussion and performance ($10). Cuban-born journalist and poet Achy Objeas leads the discussion with Eduardo Vilaro, Septime Webre, Pedro Ruiz and Maray Ramis Gutierrez; the performance will include Gutierrez's Puntos Suspensivos, Ruiz's Club Havana, Vilaro's Danzon and Webre's Fluctuating Hemlines.
