The glorious Bolshoi Ballet makes a five-day New York appearance as part of the Lincoln Center Festival. The company performs Jean-Christophe Maillot's two-act The Taming of the Shrew, based on Shakespeare's war-of-the-sexes comedy. Principal dancers inue Ekaterina Krysanova, Kristina Kretova, Vladislav Lantratov, Igor Tsvirko, Olga Smirnova, Anastasia Stashkevic and Semyon Chudin.

Incredible dancing! So entertaining. Wasn't super classical ballet (which can get boring). It was very upbeat/modern and kept us entertained for the entire 2 hours. We loved it!
