Companhia de Dança Deborah Colker: Cão Sem Plumas (Dog Without Feathers)

The Brazilian company returns to the Joyce for the first time since 2002 with a striking work that won the prestigious Prix Benois de la Danse in 2018. Inspired by a poem by João Cabral de Melo Neto, the show surrounds dust-covered dancers with poetry, music and film to explore the beauty as well as the cultural and environmental impact of Northeast Brazil’s Capibaribe River.
