Complexions Contemporary Ballet

Complexions returns to the Joyce with three pieces by resident choreographer Dwight Rhoden. Star Dust, the first installment of a full-length ballet tribute to David Bowie, makes its NYC debut. In the first week of the run (Jan 24–29), it is paired with the premiere of Gutter Glitter, set to electronica; in the second (Jan 31–Feb 5), it shares a program with Ballad Unto…, set to compositions by Bach. Vanessa Williams hosts a gala for the company on January 26.
