Quick movements, high kicks, playful partnering and powerful rhythm characterise the performance style of DanceBrazil, which makes its return to the Joyce Theater in late June. The company members are masters of Capoeria, a Brazilian form of Martial Arts with African origins that uses elements of dance and acrobatics—the resulting choreography is both sexy and exhilarating.
