David Dorfman Dance

Dorfman reprises two older works—Lightbulb Theory and Impending Joy—for the Harkness Dance Festival. Curated by Doug Varone, the platform adopts a "stripped/dressed" format; artists present a deconstructed look at their choreography, as well as a finalized production. Dorfman "strips" Lightbulb Theory by staging it with various numbers of performers, and then presents the complete "dressed" Impending Joy.
