E-Moves

For its 16th-anniversary E-Moves festival, Harlem Stage commissions new works inspired by the words and ideas of James Baldwin and the songs of Billie Holiday. The presenting artists are André Zachery/Renegade Performance Group, Brinae Ali, Malcolm Low/Formal Structure and Love|Forté (Nia Love and Marjani Forté). They are mentored by Ishmael Houston-Jones, Germaine Ingram, David Thomson and Carolyn Adams, respectively.
